Since its introduction in 2003, Trimble’s Recon has proven to be a workhorse for individuals whose work, in rugged and harsh environments, requires substantial handhelds to fit their in-field needs. For the past eight years, the Recons proved to be up to the task.
Recon further expanded its functionality through end-cap bundles, such as GPS and bar code laser scanners. Until now, Recons have not had the capability to connect to the numerous USB peripheral devices in the market today, particularly USB flash and rugged portable hard drives.
Light Cone Corp. introduces Recons to the world of USB peripheral devices through its USB Host bundle. This package includes a CompactFlash USB Host card and a corresponding CompactFlash USB Host extended cap. This bundle covers all Recons in the field today.
