SANDISK SDHC MEMORY CARDS ARE NOW COMPATIBLE WITH POCKET PC’s USING SOLAREXPRESS PDA II CF USB HOST CARD AND SANDISK USB SDHC READER/WRITER MICROMATE
Irvine, California, November 15, 2007 – Light Cone Corp. president, Robert Manhart, announced today that the SolarExpress PDA II (SEPDA II) CF USB Host Card is compatible with SanDisk's memory cards such as SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) and microSDHC. He further stated, "The SolarExpress PDA II and MicroMate combination offers compliance to non-SDA (Secure Digital Association) 2.0 Pocket PCs, while providing users easy access for reading and writing to SDHC memory cards.
Without this solution, non compliant SDA 2.0 PDA users would have to consider more costly alternatives such as replacing their exsting devices. With the rapid adoption of SDHC memory cards in digital cameras and other portable devices, it's even more critical that Pocket PC users have the ability to read and write to SDHC memory cards."
The SolarExpress PDA II includes a USB Peripheral Viewer monitor program that displays a SDHC card in MicroMate as an available storage resource. The SEPDA II CF USB Host Card sells for $84.95 at Light Cone's on-line store and internationally through Expansys on-line stores.
